Still Haunted by Dolls
In August, 2016, I had a solo show at Pittsburgh Filmmakers under the auspices of the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts. Part of my exhibit was titled "Haunted by Dolls." It contained photographs of dolls taken in antique malls in Maine and my personal collection of dolls, both gifted and inherited. Since that event, I have continued to photograph the dolls I find in the most curious clothing and unlikely locations.
If you see an interesting doll scene or have one, please let me know.

Little Door, Polish Hill
I love photographing the communities of Pittsburgh and finding their special idiosyncrasies and nuances. Little doors on houses is one I found while visiting Polish Hill. I assume that it is an entrance to the basement for coal delivery or other items not typically brought through the front door.

Tree Reflection
I didn't go very far from home for this shot. Actually, it is my birdbath right on the deck that once again offered an interesting scene for me to capture. In this abstract photograph, I found most of my favorite things - water, trees, leaves, reflections and a sense of wonder.
Let me know if I can photograph some of your favorite things.

One Morning Last Week
What wild weather the new year has brought! Earlier during the morning of this photograph, the phrase, "Red sky in morning, sailor's warning" was my shout. Unfortunately I did not have a photography tool at the time of the warning, so I shot this later through my studio window.
