Earlier today, I met with Ellen Neuberg at Gallerie Chiz to drop off some new pieces.  The above images represent the Iowa and New York City series now there as matted prints.  I also dropped off 50 note cards and three framed prints from the Off-Season series.
Please check them out when attending the First Friday festivities on Ellsworth Avenue, or, whenever you are out and about in that area.  The gallery is eclectic and exciting with lots of Pittsburgh artists represented.  The website is http://www.galleriechiz.com/.

Donald Trump has been in the political news a lot lately.  From supporting the Birthers to being roasted at the Correspondents Dinner last weekend, we have heard and seen him a lot.  I thought it might be a good time to post the pictures of his building taken last summer in NYC.  More in the flickr photostream.

What a beautiful day for a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge! Jim and I taxied over to Brooklyn and hiked back to town. The view all along was fantastic! More in the flickr photostream.

Walking around NYC is a special treat for me. I can't take everything in fast enough! The photographs in this series are just a fraction of what I saw during my visit. Over the Fourth of July weekend, Jim took me to New York City. Our major destination was MOMA, which was exhibiting Pictures by Women: A History of Modern Photography.

We traveled by MegaBus and stayed on E 56th Street, between Park and Lexington. Most everything was within walking distance for us. Over the next few days, I will be posting the photography I did during that fun four-day stay. I love New York! More in the flickr photostream.

What beautiful scenes New York City offered the first week of November, 2009! The weather was crisp and dry and fall was in full bloom. Walking and taxiing around town was great fun and the urban setting was a treat to shoot for this suburban gal! More shots in the photostream.
