Yesterday morning while 'trudging' in the neighborhood, I stopped to photograph a big patch of thistle. Most of it has gone to seed, but there were a few surprises. More in the flickr photostream.

During the first week in June, I visited Columbus, OH. One morning we spent two wonderful hours touring the Franklin Park Conservatory (www.fpconservatory.org). One of the rooms was ablaze with butterflies!
