Photographs of the Week - New Macro Filter

Seeds

Wine Glass

Last Two Options

Goldenrod

This week in the mail, I received a macro filter that I ordered online for my D90 50 mm lens.  It only cost $5.00 :)  I knew I would not reach the quality of the macro photographs posted by Nanci Goldberg, Tim Fabian and many other of my photography friends, too numerous to list.  I thought it would be fun to just scoot around shooting and seeing what would come of it.  Here are four of them.  I look forward to trying some more macro stuff with and without it.  Have a good week!

Image of the Day

Tulips I

Two years ago I took a picture of tulips on a walk with Mary Jane Bent, photographer and mentor. The cropped version looked to me like a line of musical notes. I made a copy of it and gave it to my cousin, Beth Muldoon, to play with. She has composed a song using that line of tulip notes. She doesn't feel it is quite ready for prime time, but when it is, it will be posted here. She is also working on three other tulip pieces, the photographs for which, I took in her garden. I will keep you posted on her progress!
