Yesterday, the third in an unusual string of four sunny days in early March, I took a walk with my friend Cristina around her Pittsburgh neighborhood.  Although the sun announced spring, the snow and icy walks were the true indicators of the season's transition.  After about four blocks, 20 images and a collaborative project sealed, Cristina took a nasty fall.  The sudden shock and pain subsided, but I hope that after a full recovery, we can head out in another direction to discover more about each other and the neighborhoods of Pittsburgh.  More in the flickr photostream.

Cookbook Cover Featured in Publication

I received an online publication this week that features the Fox Chapel Garden Club cookbook "Recipes in Bloom."  The author, Debbie Crosby, actually gives me quite a shout-out as the photographer for the cover.  I had staging help from Lynne Porter, Fritz Mitnick and Norma Lucy, and remember the shoot as being a lot of fun!  Check it out  http://cookbookpublishers.com/NewsletterLinks/CivicBeauty.cfm
