Garage Window

Odd time of year to clean up your garage, but that has been my task for the last few weekends.  I love beech trees and the one outside the garage window is one of my favorites.  The bark acts as a palette for shadows and scars.  The leaves stick around and rattle in the winds of winter.  Hunt Road is softened by branches and the fog on the window during this season.  I wonder what photographic surprise I will find while cleaning the basement!!

February Fog

I LOVE photographing fog!  From Maine, Potter County to here in Fox Chapel, fog has always been one of my favorite subjects.  Weather has continued to be wild here in SW PA with even a tornado in Uniontown.  Have a safe week.

Comments and suggestions are always welcome!

Still Haunted by Dolls

In August, 2016, I had a solo show at Pittsburgh Filmmakers under the auspices of the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts.  Part of my exhibit was titled "Haunted by Dolls."  It contained photographs of dolls taken in antique malls in Maine and my personal collection of dolls, both gifted and inherited.  Since that event, I have continued to photograph the dolls I find in the most curious clothing and unlikely locations.

If you see an interesting doll scene or have one, please let me know.
