As the year draws to a close, I want to thank my followers and other friends who enjoy and have supported my photography voyage.  It has been a great year for me, but I could not have done it without the support and help from numerous people.

Thank you, Carolyn Pierotti of Purple Room Fine Art and Percolate Art Space & Gallery (http://www.purplepierotti.com/) for the exhibit at Chromos Eyewear in Lawrenceville.  It was a grand show in a special neighborhood!

I was thrilled to work with Laura Domencic of the Pittsburgh Filmmakers/Pittsburgh Center for the Arts for my one woman show at Pittsburgh Filmmakers and thank her for her fine eye, patience and professionalism.

Thank you, Kathleen Wendell for your support and choice of my work for Arts & Crafts at the Library at Cooper-Siegel Library in Fox Chapel.  It's been an honor to show my work in my "own neighborhood" and have sales support a fine institution.

At the Eastside Gallery exhibition, I got to show work in the same space as several of my idols - Adrienne Heinrich, Phiris Kathryn Sickels and Kathleen Zimbicki along with new friends, Susan Pollins and Debra Platt.  Such a fun space!  (www.eastside-gallery.com)

Thanks also go to Hoyt Art Center, the Pittsburgh Society of Artists Exhibition Committee members for their fine exhibitions this year, Tula Organic Spa (Thanks, Carol Skinger!) and Most Wanted Fine Art.

A couple of exhibits are still ongoing.  At the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts, "The New Collective" runs until February 26, 2017.   I have two photographs in this show - a collaboration of the Center and all of its Guilds.  My two images are below.

At Cooper-Siegel Library, Fox Chapel, the "Flavor of our Community" will continue until Spring, 2017.

I wish you all peace, happiness and great art in 2017.

Nature Photography Challenge

Last week, I was challenged by Mark Panza to post a nature photograph each day for seven days and nominate someone new each day to do the same.  The photographs above are the ones I posted.  I found it a hard decision to choose which ones to post since I have hundreds of them; nature being one of my favorite topics.  So, just for fun, I created a flickr album containing all of the photographs I contemplated using.  All of the photographs were taken in Potter County, PA at our camp.  I hope you enjoy them!  The link is

Naples, Florida Trip

The weather was rather interesting during our visit.  We had high winds and severe thunderstorms at times, but lovely near 80 degree days as well.  It was great fun being with old friends and eating scrumptious meals as well as relaxing and reading.
